This wooden toy is a study in detail and design. An example of great craftsmanship, this fire engine has been given a dull red colour that makes it look very different from the paint and lacquer covered engines of today. The fire engine is very much mobile and can be made to move around with ease allowing the child to play with it for hours. About 30 cm in length and 14 cm in height and 10 cm in width, this fire engine makes for an interesting display as well as a source of great amusement for hours for the child. The ochre, red and black parts along with the tiny carved windows, bumper and the doors give this piece so much charm.
